I totally agree. Ultimately, the question is what we value and why. It is odd to me that so much that is truly valuable is unpaid or poorly paid (parenting and other forms of care-giving, teaching, much creative work) while much destructive behavior is highly compensated. We have to build an economy where people matter, not one where people are just one more resource to be exploited.
